Inspection
Testing

Our quality and nuclear safety department, staffed with qualified inspectors, ensures the compliance and reliability of our products at every stage.

We perform a comprehensive range of inspections:
• visual and dimensional checks
• Positive Material Identification (PMI)
• dye penetrant and magnetic particle testing
• hydrostatic testing
• hardness testing

All inspection equipment is subject to strict quality control and calibration, in line with applicable standards.

Metrology

All machined and fabricated products undergo rigorous dimensional inspections, complementing systematic visual checks, using a comprehensive range of metrology equipment.

Main equipment:
• FARO 3D measuring arm
• calipers up to 2000 mm
• profile projector Ø 600 mm (10/20/50x magnification)
• internal and external micrometers up to 500 mm
• Gagemaker equipment
• digital surface roughness tester
• hardness testing
• additional metrology equipment


PMI testing

Under the supervision of our internal Radiation Protection Officer (RPO), PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing is used to verify the chemical composition of materials and ensure raw material compliance.

This control is performed 100% at incoming inspection and on a sampling basis during production.

Dye-penetrant inspection

Our inspectors, certified COFREND Level 2 (NF EN ISO 9712) with annual vision checks, perform dye penetrant testing in accordance with internal procedures validated by a Level 3, and compliant with major design codes (RCC-M, CODAP, NF EN 13480, CODETI, ASME).

Inspections are carried out at various stages of production (machined parts, during welding, after welding) and meet PMUC requirements.

Dye penetrant testing may be supplemented by other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods as required.

Magnetic particle inspection

Our inspectors, certified COFREND Level 2 (NF EN ISO 9712) with annual vision checks, perform magnetic particle testing in compliance with PMUC requirements.

Our internal procedures, based on major standards (API, ASME), are validated by a COFREND Level 3, ensuring reliable inspections.

Hydrostatic testing

Hydrostatic testing verifies the structural integrity of pressure equipment by subjecting it to pressures above its operating conditions.

These tests ensure defect-free equipment and compliance with applicable requirements.

Capabilities:
• pressure testing up to 1000 bar (class 0.5 gauges)
• cycle recording with dedicated software
• dedicated test area
• testing witnessed by clients or notified bodies
• test pit for specific equipment
• periodic water quality control
